Our Team

The idea of Bespoke+ came about in the year 2005, when a close friend of Selçuk Avcı saw Mestni Trg, the family home in Ljubljana, and asked if his house in London can be fitted out with specialist bespoke joinery in a similar way. First there was design of course, which once carried out lead to pricing of the elements from the UK, Slovenia and Turkey, the three countries in which Avci was then operating in. Subsequently the most optimal solution came from Istanbul as a manufacturing base for all of the joinery. In those years, as also now there was a great difference in the costs of high-quality bespoke elements of joinery between Turkey and the UK and it was decided that we would fitout the Hanegraaf Residence from Istanbul. This experience taught us a great deal about the logistics of construction and manufacturing. Since then, over the years, we have continued to carry out construction and fitout projects of various types and sizes as Bespoke, but more often under the guise of Avci Architects or individually. Many of these experiences gained within the scope of Avci Architects, entered more and more into the realm of manufacturing and construction management. Finally in 2023 we decided to give this activity it its own name and created the Bespoke + brand and the web site bespoke-plus.com.

Serhat Sönmez an architect who has over 25 years of design and construction expertise joined as director. He is joined by a team of architects and design experts and managers who enables Bespoke+ to deploy a quality service not only locally but also over international borders.
